STUDY ABOUT METHODS FOR STREET DANCE TEACHING
Panelist: Henrique Bianchini / Duration: 5 to 6 hours
There is no such thing as a "right" or a "wrong" teaching method. But there are those methods that work and those that don't. This study intends to help the Street Dance Teacher to ajust its teaching procedures according to its preestablished goals. By evaluating the recurrent usual methods and their results, there is a possibility for reconfiguration, looking for an efficient knowledge transmission by escaping from the randomness in the selection and application of the processes.
HIP HOP DANCE: A DEEP HISTORICAL ANALYSIS
Panelist: Henrique Bianchini / Duration: 5 to 6 hours
Is there something like a "Hip Hop Dance"? And, if there is, what is it made of? This is the main question of this historical immersion. Completely supported by historic data and quotes from several researchers, this study intends to bring the context that generated what we call Hip Hop Dance into light. From the ethnic composition of the USA to the political reconfigurations, from the economy to the geography, everything matters in this search for the form of the dance called Hip Hop.
DIDACTICISM AND COMMUNICATION IN DANCE TEACHING
Invited Panelist: Tati Sanchis / Duration: 10 to 12 hours
Together, relevant content and a pertinent method mean less than half of a class success. Without a good communication and advanced didactics , the teacher shifts the learning responsability to the student. In this theoretical and practical experience, 30 years of knowledge are decanted in about 10 hours, looking to reaffirm the conscience of the oftenly banalized role of the dance teacher and gear it up with the needed tools to fulfill its task - To Teach!
